Opportunities: Experienced Metalworkers, (Full Time/Part Time) 

 

The Role:

We are seeking Experienced Metalworkers  to join our team in both the workshop and site based. We work on all metals and objects (Bronze, Copper, Stainless Steel, Wrought Iron etc) across disciplines, this includes but is not limited to: Casting and Foundry, Engineering and Fabrication, Blacksmithing, Goldsmithing, Metals Conservation and Decorative Finishes.

Manual Work

  • We work on some of the most important heritage sites in the country and everything we do must  be of the very highest standard.

 

About You

​​

  • Our work can be physically demanding and you should be prepared to work in sometimes challenging conditions.

  • Self-motivated and proactive: as part of a busy team, you must have a can-do attitude, be flexible and proactive in your approach to work and be self-motivated, and driven.

  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.

  • Team working: a good team player, you’re able to demonstrate common sense in prioritising and managing your workload effectively.

  • The role will require you to be accomplished at multi-tasking.

  • Attention to detail: We will expect you to be committed to have a good eye for detail, the ability to spot flaws in products/processes and to question things and seek solutions when problems arise.

  • Flexible: management may require occasional out of hours working, sometimes at short notice due to the nature of where we work.

  • Willingness to learn: we love what we do, and you’ll be willing to get involved.
