Arts Heritage is committed to the highest standards in conservation, we use traditional skills in craftsmanship, but also, where appropriate, we are able to leverage our experience  in materials, employing innovative techniques. We offer a practical approach to conservation and restoration across a wide range of materials. We have worked with many national museums and heritage organisations, universities and private collectors. The majority of our work takes place in our west London workshops however if you are enquiring from a heritage organisation and require the work to be undertaken in situ or in your own studios we should be able to accommodate

  • To develop our capabilities through our involvement with and contribution to academic field of conservation we active members of the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

  • We adhere to the ethical guidelines of the European Confederation of Conservators-Restorers Organisations (ECCO) code of ethics.

  • We document all work undertaken to create and maintain conservation archives for future reference.

  • Provide guidance on conservation treatments, care and maintenance of objects and collections via detailed condition and environmental surveys.


Policy & Procedure:


Arts Heritage conforms to industry legislation and our policy and procedure documents are available on request. We are fully covered for on-site work and our insurance is designed specifically for the specialist conservation projects we undertake.
